Advocacy The Government Affairs Committee (GAC) of the Buffalo Niagara Partnership is the point of contact for all issues that deal with local, state and federal government. The GAC reviews legislation and recommends support or opposition, advocates for specific legislation and regularly meets with local, state and federal officials to advance the goals of our region's business community. Advocacy may include further collaboration with other local organizations, greater use of web-based technology, and deeper involvement in political campaigns – even recruitment and cultivation of candidates who understand the challenges businesses face in our region, and who will fight for the necessary reform. As always, the Partnership's goal is to create a more business-friendly climate in our community, leading to new jobs and investment opportunity. Advocacy Information To get involved in advocacy, please contact the Partnership's Government Relations Manager, Craig W. Turner, at cturner@thepartnership.org.
