Woman to Woman M E N T O R I N G  P R O G R A M

B a c k g r o u n d:

Now in its fourth year, the Buffalo Niagara Partnership has succeeded in offering our members and the community the only cross-industry women's mentoring program in the region. The program has now matched more than 210 area women with 97 highly successful local business women based on various mentee goals.

B e n e f i t s :

. Offers a series of events for relationship building.

. The Partnership personally matched mentees with mentors based on mentee requests and personality types.

. Mentor/mentee matches follow relationship building events, in one-on-one coaching sessions based on each pairs' personal needs/schedules.

. Offers many networking opportunities and lifelong relationships with all program participants.

S t e p s :

*Join - Identify the main reasons you would like to find a mentor in your professional and personal life, such as advancing in your career, combining work and motherhood, working better with different personality types, and more. Then send in your reservation!

*Build - Each event listed offers various training and relationship building with fellow program participants. Mark your calendars now for these valuable and effective events to make the most of the first part of this program. After the "Me" Cocktail Party, mentees will submit their top choices for mentors, and matches will be made. The relationships you build during the event portion will not just give you a great year of mentoring, but possible long-lasting relationships with any of the women.

*Learn - Following the Ladies Links & Spa Day, all mentor/mentee pairs will review and sign a contract outlining the upcoming year's goals and means in which they will personally meet them. The Partnership is here to assist during this time, but each pair will be responsible for both the process they choose and the fulfillment of that process.

The 2008 program year is limited to 20 mentors and 40 mentees!
