Nominations Underway for 2006 ATHENA Award

 

The annual call has been issued to find the Buffalo Niagara region’s top women professionals.

Nominations are being accepted for the Partnership’s 17th annual ATHENA Award, honoring woman professionals who have attained and personify the highest levels of professional excellence, demonstrate support for the goals of women professionals and provide significant and selfless assistance on their behalf.

Nominations will be accepted through Noon on Friday, March 3.  Nomination forms may be downloaded the Partnership’s Web site (CLICK HERE to download).

The award recipient will be chosen by a Selection Committee made up of previous recipients and event sponsors.  The recipient and all nominees will be introduced and honored at the 17th Annual ATHENA Award Luncheon at Noon on Friday May 12 at the Millennium Airport Hotel Buffalo.

The ATHENA Award is presented by BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York and Rite Aid.  Proceeds from the event benefit the WNY Women's Fund.
