July 27, 2020
Employers know they play a critical role in helping prevent the spread of COVID-19 and keeping Buffalo Niagara’s economy moving forward.
Part of that responsibility includes working hand-in-hand with county health departments to effectively deploy contact tracing if an employee is diagnosed with COVID-19.
In response, The Partnership hosted a webisode with Dr. Gale Burstein, Commissioner, Erie County Department of Health, and Daniel Stapleton, Public Health Director, Niagara County Department of Health.
Participants learned:
- Employers’ role in contact tracing
- Best practices for keeping records for employee interaction
- What information is considered private and what information is public
- Does an employer have a right to know an employee’s test results?
