Cuomo Expands Vaccine Eligibility to 30+ 

Governor Cuomo has announced that beginning tomorrow, March 30, New Yorkers age 30 and older are eligible to register for and receive a COVID-19 vaccine.   

The Governor also announced today that New Yorkers 16 years old and older can schedule vaccination appointments and receive a vaccination beginning April 6. 

These dates best President Biden’s May 1, 2021 deadline for states to offer universal eligibility.

As we told you earlier this week, beginning today, New York State adopted CDC public health guidance for fully vaccinated New Yorkers. The new guidance gives employers the choice of adopting the new CDC guidance or maintaining mask/face covering and social distancing policies for both employees and customers.

Senate to Consider Innovation & Competition Act

The U.S. Senate has begun formal consideration of the U.S. Innovation & Competition Act (S. 1260), previously known as the Endless Frontier Act.
