Learn a little bit more about Stephen in this brief Q&A.
Q: What is your background in/what type of work were you in before the BNP?
A: Before arriving at BNP, I worked in finance and most recently, real estate. I formed close professional connections with agents and was inspired by their resiliency and determination in operating their businesses. I hope to bring the same grit and passion to my role at BNP.
Q: How did your past experience prepare you for your current role at BNP?
A: The world is changing, and technology is facilitating it. I’ve experienced the traditional shift to an expansive online consumer experience and was part of the driving force in my previous role. Providing our members with a top-notch digital experience is one of my main focuses in my first phase at BNP.
Q: Tell us a little-known fact about yourself.
A: I try to find a new hobby to explore every month (and obsess over), especially during the winter months. My recent ones have been brewing kombucha, creating a sourdough starter, and making kimchi. Next up: cold process soap.
Q: What do you like to do for fun?
A: One of my favorite things to do for fun around Buffalo is shopping, whether it is wandering Wegmans on a Saturday morning or exploring the interesting small shops around Elmwood. My least favorite is checking out at the end.
Q: Best Buffalo Hidden Gem.
A: Ballyhoo Mac & Cheese and their homemade ice cream sandwiches.
Q: What is your favorite part about living in Buffalo?
A: All the different cultures that have transformed Buffalo in the past decades. You can explore the entire world by choosing certain restaurants around the area.
Q: What do you like best about working from home?
A: I enjoy shifting my “work space” to help my concentration during the day. For me, creativity is unlocked when my surroundings change periodically.
