Presentation Highlights (what can the audience expect to learn or take away?):

This workshop will focus on activation, accountability, and advocacy. Participants will learn the skills and behaviors of inclusive leadership and assess where they are on this continuum.

D&I Resources, Recommendations, & Inspiration:
  • Book: The Four Pivots: Reimagining Justice, Reimagining Ourselves
  • Person: Dr. Shawn A. Ginwright
  • Other Media (podcast, show, social, publication): The Nap Ministry podcast
  • Advice for someone starting or continuing on, their DEI journey: D&I is not something that you do. It's what you embody. Continuously ask: How do I embody diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice? What does it look like in action? How does it show up in every interaction? It is a life-long journey of unlearning, learning, healing, and compassion (alleviating our own suffering and the suffering of others).
