The Buffalo Niagara Partnership hosted its signature Annual Report to Members event on Nov. 14 at Statler Buffalo, where the BNP celebrated and reflected on how its mission continues to come to life in many new and exciting ways.
“The Buffalo Niagara Partnership's mission has not only thrived but flourished this past year,” BNP President & CEO Dottie Gallagher said to the more than 200 members who were in attendance. “We are incredibly grateful for your unwavering support, which empowers us to continue this vital work.”
Key wins highlighted in the 2023-2024 Annual Report include:
- Securing federal funding for the NY SMART I-Corridor
- Driving key economic development policies, such as funding for the FAST NY Shovel-Ready Grant Program
- Advocating for Buffalo Niagara employers by holding the line against harmful policies, including stoppage of a proposal to decommission the state’s gas distribution network
- Expanding membership impact through new BNP membership levels and talent program offerings
- Announcing the BNP’s upcoming move to its new headquarters at 79 Perry St.
The program also featured a fireside chat with Gallagher and Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres Chief Operating Officer Pete Guelli, who unveiled details about the BNP’s new headquarters in the Cobblestone District and discussed how it fits into the Sabres’ vision for the neighborhood around KeyBank Center.
