Get to know Arcadea in this quick Q&A!

What is your background in/what type of work were you in before the BNP?

My background is in marketing and sales. Before the Buffalo Niagara Partnership, I served as the Sr. Director of Digital Sales at the Buffalo News and in business development with a global digital technologies company.

How did your past experience prepare you for your current role at BNP?

My past experience in sales and marketing leadership within media organizations, coupled with my work advising marketing technology companies, has uniquely prepared me for my role with the BNP. I have developed a deep understanding of global marketing technologies and marketing-as-a-service, which allows me to craft innovative strategies that drive engagement, revenue, and community impact. My ability to blend vision with pragmatic solutions has been instrumental in fostering business growth, strengthening partnerships, and positioning the chamber as a catalyst for regional economic development.

What inspired you to join the BNP team?

I was inspired to join the chamber because of its vital role in driving economic growth, supporting businesses, and fostering a strong, connected community. Throughout my career in sales and marketing, I have seen firsthand how strategic partnerships and innovative marketing can elevate organizations. With the BNP- I can apply my expertise in a way that directly impacts regional businesses, helping them thrive while also championing community growth. The chance to lead marketing and sales efforts for an organization that serves as a cornerstone for local businesses was both a natural fit and a meaningful next step in my career.

Tell us a little-known fact about yourself.

Fun fact: I used to teach acting!

What do you like to do for fun?

Without question, spend time with my family.

Best hidden gem in Buffalo?

Not exactly hidden- I love the architecture and parks!

What is your favorite part about living in the Buffalo area?

The people that make up this region make Western New York a treasure.

What do you like best about a hybrid work schedule?

I find the mix to be a great balance of in-person collaboration and solo autonomous deep work.
