“The BNP thanks Mayor Byron Brown for his two decades of service to our City. The City has grown tremendously under Mayor Brown’s leadership. We wish him well in his next chapter. 

The BNP congratulates Council President Christopher Scanlon on becoming Buffalo’s Acting Mayor. Throughout his time in the Common Council, Mr. Scanlon has proven to be a reliable voice of reason with an exciting vision for Buffalo’s future.  

Mr. Scanlon takes the helm at a challenging time which will require difficult budgetary decisions. The BNP looks forward to working collaboratively with Acting Mayor Scanlon and a broad set of stakeholders to continue to move the city forward.”
